Join me for a grand Saturday in beautiful Heidelberg, featuring three hours of workshops followed by a party with a live band and DJ. The festivities continue on Sunday with another three-hour class and a relaxed Tea Dance with DJ.
This year I have divided the workshop into two blocks of three hours each. Both groups will have one class with each teaching couple. That way, everyone will get to benefit from the great teachers I have invited.

Mel & Jo Calanglang
Mel and Jo are passionate dancers dedicated to promoting swing dance in the United Kingdom. After starting with salsa in Singapore and moving to the UK in 2000, they explored lindy hop, charleston and blues before falling in love with Balboa in 2008, which remains their main focus today.
They regularly social dance, compete, and teach Balboa and Bal-swing across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Known for their down-to-earth and positive teaching style, they create engaging and enjoyable classes.
Their goal is to share their passion for Balboa and inspire others through continuous learning and teaching.
Alberto Boffa & Elena Paiola
Alberto and Elena are Balboa and Slow Balboa dancers and instructors, known for their elegant and harmonious style. With backgrounds in contemporary dance and swing, they bring a personal approach that emphasizes fluidity, connection, and the nuances of Pure Balboa.
Their classes are lively and engaging, focusing on body awareness, movement mechanics, and a supportive learning environment. They also integrate historical context to deepen students’ understanding of the dance.
In recent years, they have taught at international events and achieved strong results in major Balboa competitions worldwide.
